About us
The Centre for New Music at Sheffield (CeNMaS) is located at the Department of Music at the University of Sheffield. CeNMaS is a focus for the large number of concerts, visiting lectures, residencies, symposia and festivals taking place at Sheffield throughout the academic calendar, including the University of Sheffield Sound Studios (USSS), the Sheffield University New Music Ensemble and the Sound Laboratory Concerts Series.
The Centre also provides a forum for composers, performers and audiences to share ideas and information. The 2017-2018 season culminated in the Sound Agendas Composers’ Conference 27-29 April 2018.
